JYP Online Audition 2026 — How to Apply Now That The Heat Has Ended
Andxo·2026년 6월 22일·2026년 9월 23일 수정2026년 9월 기준 정보
JYP's offline tour "The Heat" has wrapped, and its special online submission window — which ran through July 22 — has closed as well. But that's not the end of the road: JYP's regular online audition channel stays open year-round, with no age, gender, or nationality restrictions.
📅 Current status
JYP's "The Heat" offline tour ended in Seoul on May 31, and the linked global online submission window (June 8 – July 22) has also closed. What remains open is JYP's standing, rolling online audition at audition.jype.com — separate from The Heat, and not tied to any deadline.
📋 What was 'The Heat'?
"The Heat" was JYP's 2026 offline audition tour, running 20 open rounds across major cities in Korea and abroad. The final round was held in Seoul on May 31, 2026, closing out the offline leg. A linked online submission window then stayed open through July 22 for applicants who couldn't attend in person.
The program was built to scout JYP's next boy group. With both the offline tour and its online extension now closed, the rolling year-round channel at audition.jype.com is currently the active way to apply.

💡 What JYP is looking for
JYP values "naturalness" over technical polish. Judges have publicly said they "prefer genuine personality over rehearsed charm."
📹 How to apply online
- Go to audition.jype.com
- Create a JYP account or log in
- Record a video: 1–3 minutes, clearly showing your talent
- Submit — the rolling channel has no fixed deadline
Video tips
- Use even, bright lighting (natural light works fine too)
- Audio quality matters more than video quality — film somewhere quiet
- Keep your face clearly visible throughout
- Open with a brief self-introduction (name, age, skill)
🎤 What JYP looks for in boy-group trainees
JYP's successful boy groups — Stray Kids, 2PM, GOT7 — share something in common: strong individual character paired with authentic teamwork energy. In 2026, JYP scouts are paying particular attention to:
- Vocal control — pitch, tone, emotional expression
- Dance fundamentals — structural understanding of movement, not just freestyle
- Rap flow — original lyrics aren't required; natural delivery matters more
- Star presence — the thing that can't be taught
