PLEDIS Entertainment is the label behind SEVENTEEN, NU'EST, and fromis_9. Since being acquired by HYBE in 2020, it has been integrated into HYBE's global audition platform, and trainees are now scouted through HYBE's worldwide infrastructure.
✅ How to apply in 2026
PLEDIS doesn't run a separate recruitment site — applicants apply through HYBE's unified audition portal, bighitaudition.com. You can either specify PLEDIS as your preferred label or be assigned through a comprehensive evaluation.

PLEDIS's defining trait is artist-led production. SEVENTEEN pioneered the "self-producing idol" concept, with members writing lyrics, composing, and choreographing within the group — and PLEDIS's training system is built around cultivating that same capability.
PLEDIS looks beyond raw performance skill and evaluates musical ability as well. It's an especially favorable environment for applicants interested in songwriting, lyric-writing, or choreography.
Since the HYBE acquisition, trainees get:
SEVENTEEN's success as a 13-member group rests on strong chemistry among its members. PLEDIS judges weigh ensemble ability just as heavily as individual skill.

💡 Note on SEVENTEEN's unit structure
SEVENTEEN is made up of three units — vocal, hip-hop, and performance. PLEDIS scouts talent with this structure in mind, looking for specialized strengths in each area. Figure out which track matches your strengths and highlight it in your application.
